Description

SO I finally finished my Hawke and got a similar bio up with her, like my Hero of Ferelden. Hopefully this will be enough to get a sense of what she's like. Typical, kind of, but ah well! She'll be tweaked as I go along :)

:bulletblue:Name: Ophelia Hawke

:bulletblue:Date of Birth: 9:06- 9:07 Dragon

:bulletblue:Gender: Female

:bulletblue:Class: Rogue

Appearance

:bulletblue:Hair style/colour: Medium black hair, much like Bethany's, but there is a side bang hanging near her left eye.

:bulletblue:Eyes: She has an aquamarine eye color.

:bulletblue:Lips: Pouty pale rose lips, not too full and not too thin.

:bulletblue:Complexion: Pale skin tone, no distinguishing birthmarks.

:bulletblue:Height/Weight/Build: Five foot eight inches, 129 pounds, semi lean/ muscular build; built up upper body strength from practicing with swinging weapons. She also has built muscles in her legs from forcing herself to run several miles each morning while she trained with her father, Malcolm.

:bulletblue:Are there any features your Hawke likes/dislikes about themselves?: Ophelia could do with different cheekbones, or so she thinks.

:bulletblue:How do others view Hawke? Do they find Hawke attractive?
Hawke is very much attractive around Kirkwall, considering she is a 'foreign' attraction in Kirkwall.

:bulletblue:Does your Hawke have any scars or tattoos?: Ophelia has a face tattoo, that somewhat expands to the other side of the face. She had gotten it mainly on a dare from Carver, but she had always thought the idea of a face tattoo being fearsome and intimidating, especially since she had signed up to work under King Cailan.

:bulletblue:Do they wear any accessories?: She wears a pendant that her mother used to wear, it holds value because it had belonged to her.

:bulletblue:Do they wear any make-up? Why or why not?: Ophelia wears a bit of black eye shadow to accentuation her natural appearance, mainly to have the color of her eyes pop. She had always liked the color of them, liking that people usually made eye contact and helped them to pay attention, her stare was pretty relentless.

Personality - What keeps the clock ticking?

:bulletblue:What kind of personality do they have?: She is both kind hearted and sarcastic, she has that charming/ snarky attitude because she likes to make light of things when the tension is too high, but she has an understanding nature as well.

:bulletblue:How do others get along with your Hawke?:Do others appreciate their personality? Do others clash with your Hawke due to their personality? Hawke's personality contribute to their reputation indeed.
Sometimes when the time isn't right and the complete seriousness of the other person is too strong, then it only makes them uncomfortable. Though half the time there are quite a few people who appreciate the humor.

:bulletblue:What dialogue options did you choose the most?: I mainly have my Hawke choose the charming/ sarcastic dialog, it leads to funnier banter.

:bulletblue:What is your Hawke’s sexual orientation?: Straight

:bulletblue:How do they feel about the topic of sex?: Hawke is quite shy about the subject, but she can usually openly discuss this with close friends. It's kind of funny to her, depending on the topic.

:bulletblue:What are some of your Hawke’s sexual experiences?: Hawke is more of a one man, one woman kind of gal. She believes that a relationship between a couple should strictly stay between them. Before meeting her friends in Kirkwall, she had never met anyone that caught her fancy, she was too busy on the run from Lothering during the Fifth BLight, and she was mainly worried about her family than finding love or a fun time. Before she had lain with Fenris, she never even shared a kiss with anyone.

Romance - Apostate prostitutes? Apostitutes!

:bulletblue:Who did your Hawke Romance?: Ophelia romanced Fenris, the broody elf. Their relationship started off quite rivalrous as Hawke agreed to help the mages in many quests, but she needed to explain to him that her sister was a mage, and she needed all the help she could get. Hawke loved his enthusiasm and how strongly he felt about himself and his past, plus his looks weren't all that bad either. They were strongly physically attracted to each other at first, but once they had gotten to know one another, it was hard to resist.

:bulletblue:What are their plans for the future?: Fenris happily sided with Ophelia for the mages, because he understood the predicament the family faced once Bethany was forced into the Circle. He stayed by Hawke's side and is on the run with her from Kirkwall. Their whereabouts currently are unknown.

Relationships - Family Matters.

:bulletblue:How was Hawke's relationship with Malcolm?: As Ophelia was the first born, she had a longer time to grow up with Malcolm there, and bond with him in ways that Bethany and Carver couldn’t. Being a rogue, growing up with her father was surprisingly quite positive. Malcolm loved his eldest daughter to bits, glad that she wasn't born with the 'curse' of his magic, afraid of the consequenses in the long run. The two were rather close, and she completely adored her father. Though he had loved every single one of his children equally, Carver had felt that he wasn't as important because he was the non-mage and the youngest child.

:bulletblue:How did your Hawke deal with the death of Malcolm?: Ophelia was completely devastated by her father's death, she could barely focus for months afterwards, and it had been a huge responsibility for her to take over the head of the family for him. She gladly stepped up to the task once her mother had taken the time to sit down and have a long talk with her about the events of his death.

:bulletblue:What is their relationship like with Leandra?: She had grown closer to her since her father passed, and she really saw where she had gotten most of her personality from, which made her love her mother even more.

:bulletblue:What is their relationship like with their siblings Carver and Bethany?: Carver and Hawke didn't have much of a relationship since he was more of a loner in the siblings; he would always tease and pick on the girls. It would have made more sense for him and Hawke to get along better considering Bethany was the only mage out of the three, but he didn't quite take well with anyone.
Bethany was closer with Hawke as a sister, maybe because they had both been picked on by their brother, but they realted to each other more, and Hawke loved her sister because she knew she was as special as their father. She had more sympathy for apostates.

:bulletblue:How did your Hawke cope with the sudden death of Carver?: She was completely shocked at first because of how sudden it was, but she hadn't been as heartbroken as Leandra, considering he was terrible to the girls growing up. She loved her brother, but she couldn't find the heart to mourn him as much.

Companions

:bulletblue:Describe the relationship they have with each companion.
:bulletred:Varric: Best friends forever! They get each other and practically agree with everything, it's like they were destined to be friends. They mainly play off of friendly insults and humorous banter, hanging out at the Hanged Man and drinking each other under the table. They both have experienced family loss, and they both take comfort in knowing that the other understands. As non serious as they are when ever they socialize with each other, they both consider each other almost siblings, and always have their welfare in mind. Ophelia takes Varric’s opinions very seriously, and it is always something she considers when she is uncertain of something.

:bulletred:Aveline: Like her and Varric, they're as close as any two friends can get. Aveline is like a protective older sister to Hawke, which is something Ophelia has never had as she was always the protective older sister. She often bumps heads with Aveline, but only because they have different methods of how to get the job done. Aveline always tries to take the richeous path, and do no evil. But Hawke knows by experience, not everything can be fixed by doing everything by the book. When she helped to get Donnic and Aveline together, she was the happiest she had been in ages. But past their little differences, Ophelia wants only to see Aveline happy. She may give Aveline a hard time, and always make fun of her, but when it comes down to it, Aveline is a part of the family. She was there when Carver was killed, she was there to keep Leandra company when she went to the deep roads, she often visited the estate to have meals/ conversations with Leandra to keep her company after loosing Bethany to the Circle; and she was there for Alondra when Leandra passed away as well. Aveline is a treasured part of Hawke's life.

:bulletred:Anders: She was quite close with the warden mage as well, though she felt completely betrayed by his actions against the grand cleric. At one point, she did have a silly crush on him before she met Fenris, and plus she could appeal more toward him since he was an apostate struggling with avoiding the templars. She could understand the struggle since her father and her sister both suffered with it. But after Fenris entered her life - despite his negativity toward mages - he was hard to resist when he would invite her to his mansion and just talked for hours about everything.

:bulletred:Fenris: They fell in love and ran away with another, how close could you get? The start off was rocky and rough, but Hawke managed to show him her ways and see what she sees, just so he could understand her own mindset. Once he opened up to her and became truthful, Hawke appreciated him even more and fell head over heels.

:bulletred:Isabela: She's on the fence with Isabela, considering she had also let Hawke down with the whole Arishok relic deal, but she was a decent enough friend to have around from time to time, though she couldn't stomach the pirates raunchy humor.

:bulletred:Merrill: Complete rivalry, Hawke tried to appeal to her and save her from making a huge mistake with her blood magic, but she couldn't see it from her perspective. No matter how much she tried to make things better, to Merrill, things only became worse.

:bulletred:Sebastian: [if you have The Exiled Prince DLC]: They're decent friends and they appreciate one another, but they're not the complete best of friends. Hawke still trusts him and appreciates his opinions among the rest of her group, only that Sebastian is more distant when it comes to conversation. She would often need a personal opinion and just a friend to speak to, usually meeting him on the outside stairs of the Chantry to just talk.

Beliefs - Andraste’s great flaming ass.

:bulletblue:Do they believe in The Maker?: Ophelia does feel that she should learn to pray more and be more religious since her life had become so hectic since she moved to Kirkwall, with losing her sibling and her mother, it was tough for her with no where to turn. After she had met Sebatian, he had kind of began to rub off on Opehlia, and she would often find herself wandering the Chantry halls at night, looking for a miracle.

:bulletblue:What was Hawkes initial thoughts of Flemeth?: Initially Ophelia was very impressed with the presence of Flemeth. It’s not every day you get to see a high dragon fry darkspawn in front of your eyes, simply because they were curious about you. After conversation though, she became weary of her actual motives. Obviously this old woman had thought they were worthy/ important enough to save, and reveal her shape-shifting powers in front of them. If she was even shape shifting? Ophelia really had no clue who she was, and even when finding out that she was this ‘Witch of the Wilds’ she believed this old woman was so much more than what she was letting on. Hawke didn’t object to Flemeth at all however. She actually quite liked her, she had a good sense of humor, she was wise as well as powerful. All the qualities Ophelia can associate with, or admires. Though she did get a little on edge when she was told that she reminded Flemeth of her daughter, Morrigan? She didn’t know if that was a bad thing or not… and was careful not to ask too many questions.

:bulletblue:Who was responsible for the merci-killing of Wesley?: Hawke had no right to do such a thing on Aveline's behalf, and she left it up to her to take on the responsibility, and she had done it with a bit of persuading from Wesley. Both Hawke and Aveline knew it was the right thing to do, it would be cruel if she were to allow Wesley to suffer.

:bulletblue:How did they feel about Flemeths prophecy?: Ophelia really had no idea what to think when it came to the 'prophecy’ told by Flemeth. It could of meant anything, and she probably meant it to. Flemeth was after something more. Chaos? A war? Ophelia didn’t know, she didn’t even really question it too much after that moment. It was later dismissed as nothing important.

:bulletblue:Upon arrival, which group did they sign up with?: Hawke signed up with Athenril, as a smuggler within Kirkwall. She didn't think killing men with a contract on their head was the way to go for her, and Bethany shared in that opinion. Hawke gave it a shot and decided that her humurous approach to things was the way to go when she needed to get the job done.Being a rogue, the smuggler cut came naturally to her.

:bulletblue:How did your Hawke get along with Gamlen?: Initially Ophelia was excited to get to know her long lost uncle, but after just a few hours with him she had decided she loathed him. She thought his attitude was atrocious, and became very defensive of Leandra. Alondra hadn’t given up on him entirely, because after all he was family; but once he spat venom about her father, she wanted to knock his teeth in.

:bulletblue:What was your Hawkes reaction to Gamlens loss of the family fortune and estate?: At first Ophelia was outraged that he could do such a thing, that family meant so little to him. But after yelling at him, threatening him, and comforting Leandra for hours, she realized she actually could understand why Gamlen sold the estate and fortune. Gamlen was just like Carver; believing he was always second best to his older sibling. Which made Ophelia eventually forgive him. He had put himself in that situation by being careless, gambling and owing debts, but he gave up what little he had left. And he truly did think that he would never see Leandra again, not because she ran away with Malcolm, but because she was too good to be around her ‘useless’ brother. She never confronted him about the tensity they shared, and she was pretty sure that he woud have wanted it that way.

:bulletblue:What was your Hawkes reaction to being betrayed by Batrand?: It caught Ophelia completely off guard, even though she had been on edge the whole time while being in the deep roads. Not that she ever really trusted Batrand, but something was off. She could sense it, but she had no idea that it would lead to Varric, Fenris, Anders and herself being locked in a room to die. Ophelia had a sense that Batrand wasn’t acting himself, and that he wouldn’t of condemned his baby brother to certain death. She knew it was the idol, that had some sort of hold over him. Like a demon on a mage. Though she had little time to sit and ponder over what it really was, as she was busying trying to survive.

:bulletblue:What did they think the Idol was?: Ophelia knew it was something powerful, that was probably meant to be forgotten. Or maybe it was even the reason why there is no record of these type of Dwarves anywhere in the Dwarven archives, but no matter, it was dangerous and needed to be dealt with. Once they escaped.

:bulletblue:What happened to Carver/Bethany in/after the expedition to the Deep Roads? How did Hawke feel?: When Ophelia was gone on the expedition into the Deep Roads, she felt it best to leave Bethany behind with Leandra, to keep her safe since she had taken Carver's death so heavily. Once Ophelia arrived back to Gamlen's home in Lowtown, she had to witness her sister being forcibly taken (though she went peacefully) to the Circle of Magi. It was one thing to lose Carver, but for them to now lose Bethany to the one thing their father tried to avoid for so long was heartbreaking.

:bulletblue:How did your Hawke feel about being wealthy, and making the family name respectable in Kirkwall again?: Ophelia never really cared for wealth, or status. She had learned at an early age that the only things that truly mattered was family, forgiveness, mercy and survival. Ophelia originally only planned on getting enough money so that she, Leandra, Bethany and her Mabari, Titan could live comfortably. Instead she ended up living in the family mansion, and one of the most well known people in Kirkwall. At first she was really proud that she was able to provide Leandra with what she wanted, but then became really gloomy that to get it, she had to leave Bethany to her fate as a CIrcle mage, in which the estate grew emptier. Then it all became about having a comfortable place to live in with her mother and invite her friends over to, sharing a friendly drink or meal, or becoming awfully...close to her lover, Fenris.

:bulletblue:What did your Hawke like/dislike about the Estate?: Ophelia over all loved the estate, because it was apart of her background that she never knew much about. Leandra said it was almost exactly like when she grew up there, so Opehila didn't dare change anything.

:bulletblue:How did your Hawke feel about the other Ferelden refugees?: SHe hated the fact that she couldn't do much to help the ones in need, especially when she had seen those familiar faces from her boat ride escaping to Kirkwall. But she had begun to pray for them to the Maker, and she thought that if someone like her could start from having nothing but the clothing on her back to living in an estate, there was hope for everyone.

:bulletblue:How did your Hawke like Sandal and Bodahn?:
Do you have your own ideas about what or who Sandal is, or any of his stories?: [Explain. If your Hawke has any theories, you can write about that too!]

Elves/Alienage

:bulletblue:How do they feel about Elves?: Ophelia considers everyone equals. She doesn’t think one person is more deserving than anyone else, and definitely doesn’t think that culture or beliefs should separate those who occupy Thedas. Growing up the way she did, always moving and travelling, Ophelia is thoroughly acquainted with the presence of elves. She actually has a bit of a soft spot for Elves, and she finds them beautiful, and a lot of the men are extremely attractive so she has no objection to their presence.

:bulletblue:How do they feel about the treatment of Elves in The Alienage?: Ophelia hates seeing anyone struggling to get by each day, as she had been there herself. She thinks the discrimination around them is horrible, and feels they should be free to move around and live where ever they please. She occasionally even mentioned this to the Viscount, but it was always swept under the carpet like many other issues. It often confused her how Merrill could enjoy living there, but Fenris hated even the mention of it. She never did anything to really help the elves situation because there was so much else going on in Kirkwall.

:bulletblue:What is their reaction to the Elven/Human slave trade still occuring?: Ophelia hates the slave trade out right. People are not objects, or things to be bought, possessed and sold. If she crosses paths with anyone who is associated with slavers or the slave trade, she will kill them instantly without hesitation. It’s one of the few things she will not tolerate. Of course this makes her popular with Fenris, and that's something that he loves about her, among other things.

:bulletblue:What is their relationship like with the Dalish?: There is a lot of curiosity regarding the Dalish, when it comes to Ophelia. She finds their customs so strange, but so interesting. But she always was on the defense when she had to go to the Dalish camp for any reason. She knew she was not welcome there, and often feared that she might say the wrong thing and have the whole camp out for her blood. Ophelia got on well with Keeper Marethari, and agreed with most everything she said, and was relieved to keep Merrill's eluvian obsession away from the camp, despite it wrecking their friendship.

:bulletblue:How did Hawke react to the death of Leandra?: When Ophelia was holding her mothers limp body in her arms, she was broken. Even after saying goodbye to Leandra, and apologizing for not being able to save her, she hadn’t shed a single tear. It wasn’t until that night while sitting alone in her bedroom, that she broke down into pieces. She couldn’t breathe properly through her desperate gasps of air, between muffled screams into the palms of her hands.
Ophelia had become so broken, and she didn’t think she would ever recover. Ever since her father died and Bethany left, their relationship had been strengthened, and she was mortified that she had failed to protect yet another person of her family. And at the hands of a mage. After so many years of fighting for the rights of mages, Ophelia was suddenly questioning why Mages should even exist. When it occurred to her that it wasn’t a mage that killed Leandra, it was a man. And that Malcolm, Bethany and Leandra would of wanted her to keep fighting for what she believed.

:bulletblue:Did they take comfort in a close friend or romantic interest?: All of Alondra’s friends were there for her. They all comforted her when she needed it, and spoke highly of Leandra when they felt it appropriate. Aveline was very apologetic for the loss of Leandra first as she entered her room,
but the one person who was there for her from the moment she opened her eyes, till the moment she fell asleep in his arms, was Fenris.  They both realized how easily it was for one of them to be taken away for ever, and took no extra time in hiding the depth of their emotions for one another. It reminded Ophelia of how Leandra and Malcolm must of been, and it brought warmth back into her heart.

:bulletblue:When confronting the Arishok, did your Hawke defend or hand over Isabela? Isabela hadn't come back, knowing that Hawke would want her to return the book and be on her merry way, which angered and upset her greatly. Thanks to Fenris being present, he convinced the Arishok to duel one on one with her to end this, though she hadn't wanted any bloodshed - nor any conflict whatsoever - with the Qunari.

:bulletblue:How did your Hawke feel about being named The Champion of Kirkwall?: At first Ophelia felt the title of Champion was pointless, and made her just another public figure to be slandered, and even more reason for Meredith to want her head on a spike. Later realizing that the title did actually carry weight, and she was now an almost role model for many people. It also gave her excuse to sass the pants off Meredith whenever she had the chance, and try to pull the ‘but the people prefer me’ move all the time.

:bulletblue:What is your Hawkes stance on the Templars vs Mages debate?: Even though she was merely a rogue in a family that has mage blood flowing through it’s veins, she has no real idea on how to solve the Mage/Templar problem. All she knows for sure it that the current method isn’t working anymore. She believes that anyone being forced into any confining/restricting situation against their will is wrong to start with, but then to say that it is what everyone should believe is right/support really aggravates her.

:bulletblue:Did Alistair visit Kirkwall/The Champion as King? If not, explain his status or who was there instead. What was your Hawkes impressions?: She thought it was great to be asked personally to meet King Alistair. As a fellow Ferelden, she had heard many things about him both bad and good, as well as the Queen who was the Hero of Ferelden. She greatly respected Alistair, as he had been through a lot to get to where he was, and still deals with a lot of slander towards him. Ophelia thought he was great, she actually wanted to spend time with him as a normal person, drinking and the like. His humor was fantastic in her opinion, and she could imagine Alistair, Varric and herself just all being sarcastic together.

:bulletblue:Does your Hawke miss Ferelden? Do they still consider it home?: Everyday Ophelia missed her old life back in Ferelden, but she knows how unlikely it is for her to ever return there. She often thinks about her family life back in the outskirts of Lothering, and how oblivious she could be to all the horrible things that actually existed in the world. But even with all the death, heart ache, and disappointments; Ophelia wouldn’t trade her life in Kirwall for her old life. She had met so many fantastic people, and made so many long life friends, and even fell madly in love. Ferelden will always be her home in her heart, but as long as she is surrounded by good people she cherish’s she is already home.

:bulletblue:Did their opinions clash?: Ophelia was really taken back by how open Alistair was to voicing his opinions, considering she never expected that from someone who was so important, and is suppose to stay impartial to sides. It was very refreshing to hear someone else shared all the same values/opinions as herself. Ophelia actually encouraged Alistair to do something about the Templars, and hoped he could do something before things got out of hand. But was also understanding when he said he couldn’t do anything just yet.

:bulletblue:What happened when confronted by Danarius?: She was quick to jump on the idea once Fenris asked her to come along with him, because she knew this would be an important moment in his life, he only wanted to have Hawke there with him for support. Though Ophelia felt as if it was a little off setting, and she quickly agreed to tag along, having a gut feeling that she needed to be with him for this. Ophelia was more than pissed when Danarius trotted down those stairs. She would of killed him right there on the spot if it was up to her, but she had to let Fenris take charge of the situation. After much cursing, cuts and bruises, and dead Tevinter mages lying on the floor; Ophelia praised Fenris for killing him and finally getting his closure.

:bulletblue:What happened with Varania? Did they make Fenris spare her life?: Hawke knew better, she left the decision up to him, though he had a good feeling he wouldn't spare her. Maybe it was for the best, considering if she were to live, how could he ever trust her or if she would ever show up again when he truly didn't need the negativity. When Fenris stood and walked away, he was in a fury, and Ophelia tried her best to comfort him, and that's when it clicked for him in his mind that this woman would be in his life for a very long time. He was lucky to have a woman like Hawke, and she knew he would need her in the long run.

:bulletblue:What was your Hawkes reaction when it was revealed that Varania was a mage?: Ophelia got really irritated when that little secret was slipped out. She had spent years with Fenris and hearing about how evil mages where, and the bickering between Anders and Fenris that drove everyone insane, to find out that his own flesh and blood is also a Mage. She didn’t understand why he hated Mages so much if his family had mages in it, but she easily forgave him, considering he could barely remember his old life to begin with.

:bulletblue:Did they choose to side with the Circle Mages or the Templars in The Last Straw quest?:  She had sided with Orsino long ago, and had been helping for years as best she could for the rights of mages in Kirwall. She sided with the Circle Mages, for the mages in her family, for her friend Anders, and for the rest of Thedas to finally see that the way of the Circle was no longer an option. Ophelia had never wanted it come to a huge battle between the Templars and the Mages, more importantly between Meredeth and Orsino. Ophelia had always made it clear that she never truly liked or appreciated Meredith, but she always had respected her to an extent. For Ophelia there was no other option; she had to protect them from being slaughtered by the hundreds over what Anders did. There was many things Ophelia would liked to of change, such as being able to talk Cullen around much earlier on, and being able to solve the issue without blood shed. But in one moment, she remembered what Flemeth had said. “The world fears the inevitable plummet into the abyss. Watch for that moment…and when it comes, do not hesitate to leap.” Ophelia will probably never know if that was the moment she was referring to or not, but Alondra put faith in herself for the first time in ages, and leaped.

:bulletblue:When the Chantry was blown up, what was your Hawkes initial reaction?: Ophelia was in absolute shock. They had just witnessed hundreds of people being murdered, and by the man she thought she could trust with everything. Hawke had always kind of expected something horrible to happen out of desperation, but as Champion, she thought that she would of at least been the one to try and stop it. Instead, she was the one who helped it happen. She had distracted Elthina while Anders was busy doing something decietful. She had then felt disgusted that she let him use their friendship in such a way, disappointment and anger flooded her mind, and of course having Sebastian make a promise to kill him if she didn't wasn't helping.

What happened to Anders?: Ophelia had trusted Anders since they had first started becoming close, and despite how furious and exasperated she was with him, she could never kill him. She had already chosen her side in the battle between templars and mages years ago, and despite the outcome; she would of always sided with the mages. The fact that Anders hadn’t realized this, or trusted her judgement was probably more insulting to her. She spared his life, and told him to fight to make things right, despite how Fenris and Sebastian both felt about the situation. SHe explained that he created this bigger problem, and he had to own up to fix it if he truly cared about his friends.

:bulletblue:What did your Hawke think of Meredith?: Ophelia never really got along with Meredith, and they both were kind of waiting for the moment where they could finally have a proper go at each other. But despite their differences, constant bickering, and insults; Ophelia was the bigger person and respected her. Though Ophelia hated that Meredith claimed to be all about the protection of Kirkwall and keeping the circle mages safely in the gallows, but then asked for Ophelia's help when it suited her.  It was Meredith's inconsistencies and double standards that really pushed her buttons.

:bulletblue:When Meredith enacted The Rite of Annulment, how did your Hake react?: Ophelia was obviously furious. More furious with Meredith in fact, than Anders for blowing up the Chantry. Anders has a spirit inside of his head, while Meredith had no excuse (at the time Ophelia was unaware that she was being manipulated by the idol). Orsino was 100% right, saying that it was wrong to punish ALL mages for the action of one. But it soon became clear that it wasn’t just about Kirkwall, it was about Mages being oppressed by the Templars and the Chantry, and the Templars trying to stay in control. She refused to sit back and have Meredith execute Bethany just because she was born with magical blood.

:bulletblue:Before battling Meredith, and it was revealed that she possessed the Idol from the Deep Roads, and was corrupted by it, how did your Hawke feel?: Ophelia was completely  thrown off to find that Meredith was the one in fact to of purchased the Idol. And things suddenly made a lot more sense, though it was too late to repair the damage. She didn’t really care to much about it being in her possession, more of the fact of how Varric would be coping seeing the thing that drove his brother mad.

:bulletblue:Did they have any thoughts on Orsino turning to Blood Magic?: To see that Orsino lowered himself to using the one thing that Meredith claimed was an outrage. She felt so hurt, and betrayed to see Orsino resort to Blood Magic. They were winning, and would of been able to save so many people. Instead he became the one thing she thought they where all saying they weren’t. Though Ophelia became a lot more pissed to see that Orsino had kept the spells and experiment notes from the crazy murdering Mage who had killed Leandra, then used it on himself. Ophelia was finished with putting her neck on the line and then being betrayed, this needed to end.

:bulletblue:At the end of the game, it is revealed that Hawke is no longer in Kirkwall. Do you have any ideas or thoughts about where Hawke might be?: I myself have speculated for ages over what could possibly going on in Thedas, but I really am not all too sure. I think the disappearance of the Warden and the Champion is most definitely linked. For me, my Warden was Queen of Fereldan and married to Alistair, and there is no way he would let anything happen to her unless it was involved with Warden business, or greater. The same with Hawke. Fenris and her were on the run, and I believe them both clever enough to be able to escape the Templars.
I feel like it has something to do with the Old Gods. Especially Flemeth. Then there is Morrigan, and her plan for the child (if you did the ritual, which I persuaded Alistair to do sadly.) I believe it to be much bigger than just the Mages/Templars, Elven uprising, Qunari and Tevinter Mages, and wars between the lands, or even the Darkspawn. There is something going on that is going to require everyone to work together.

But in other news, Fenris and Ophelia are travelling all over Thedas, in disguises, changing their identities, and making out in hay stacks. <3

The Hero of Ferelden - Origins

:bulletblue:Was the tale of The Hero of Ferelden an inspiration at all for your Hawke?: Though she had known the mother of the Hero (Eleanor Cousland), she wouldn't want to be compared to her in any way. WHat Hawke did for the people of Kikrwall wouldn't be anything compared to an archdemon, never! But Ophelia does respect the Hero, and would love to officially meet her, though she met her husband Alistair and instantly hit it off. Maybe they would have more in common than she thought. Her prayers went out to them whenever she could spare a moment.

:bulletblue:Are there any character quirks that you have given your Hawke outside of the game?: //Will update soon, stuck on this one//
